Birdwatching

Sao Jorge Island has fantastic conditions to enjoy the birdlife. 

São Jorge Island has several perfect sites for this practice, among which are Ponta dos Rosais, the Faja de Santo Cristo, the Planatlto Central, Topo islet and Coast and Faja dos Cubres, where we will develop our activity. Located on the northern coast, as one of the most beautiful places in the Azores, it is classified as Site of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention on the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance as Waterfowl Habitat. Here we can find a wide variety of songbirds, ducks, herons and waders. The performance of the activities are subject to weather conditions.

INCLUDES Guide | Transfer | Binoculars | liability insurance and personal accident. To activate the insurance we need the name (first and last) and date of birth of each participant (Ex. Jorge Gomes, August 27, 1977).

NOT INCLUDED Customer shall be responsible for his lunch. The equipment for the activity should be appropriate footwear to walk (Boots), comfortable clothing, preferably darker colored clothing to better camouflage (shades of green, black, etc.).
